By booking services with Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
- Cancellation Policy
- Refund for Cancellation Within One Hour
Cancellation within 1 hour of Booking is entitled to a full refund, no charges will apply.
- Cancellation Fee After One Hour
Cancellation after one hour incurs a 50% fee; the remaining amount will be refunded. This fee is necessary due to the allocation of our contractors’ time, transaction fees, and the operational efforts of our office staff.

- Contractor Scheduling
Our contractors meticulously plan schedules for our valued customers. A cancellation fee compensates for disruptions from last-minute changes.

Cancellation incurs transaction fees that are non-refundable. These fees cover the costs associated with payment processing.
- Administrative Efforts
Our office staff invest time in coordinating appointments. The cancellation fee offsets the administrative work of managing bookings and cancellations.

To cancel a booking, please contact our customer service team via email at info@bloxt.co.uk or call the office anytime on 01513324244 at least one hour before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made after this time frame will be subject to the cancellation fee.
- Refund Process
Refunds for cancellations within the allowed time frame will be promptly processed using the original payment method.
- Modifications to Bookings
To change your booking, kindly notify us at least one hour before the scheduled appointment. We'll endeavour to accommodate your request.

Definitions
Usr – An individual who purchases a repair or service from Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services.
Contractor – A tradesperson sort out by Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services to complete a repair for the user in question.
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services operate as a finder’s service linking to a nationwide database of accredited, experienced and vetted service professionals. A catch-all term to define them is as “contractors”. The database of contractors provide reactive emergency response repair and maintenance works for any home emergency.
These engineers are self-employed working on their own accord they do not operate as a direct employee or a subcontractor we purely link the job and the contractor together in rapid time.
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Service is that of a finder’s service. If a user accepts these terms and conditions you agree that, despite strict and rigorous vetting and procurement to ensure accreditations, qualifications and insurance we are not responsible for the quality of the works provided by the contractor. That responsibility lies solely with the contractor who carried out the works in question.
You also accept that our fee is that of a booking fee, and further payment is required to the attending contractor, this is priced typically at £150 per hour inclusive of VAT.
In allowing a contractor to enter your premises, as instructed by Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services you accept these terms, even in the absence of a written reply (via SMS or email) to the terms and conditions we have sent to the customer when they book in the first instance.
Liability
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services offer a same day obligation, we will always attend on the same day that the booking has been made. Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services do not provide compensation for a contractor failing to turn up on time. Indeed, the quality and workmanship of the works complete is solely linked to the contractor alone and not that of Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be via verbal or non-verbal means; this can be a phone call to the office number or via a written response to any of the communications we send you.
When booking, the user agrees that the fee payable is non-refundable, if a contractor has been booked in and the user is to have cancelled on us.
If a contractor has not yet been instructed, the refundable amount is 50% of the total booking fee, this to cover the offices time in arranging contractor attendance for the user.
If you’ve made a booking with Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services, you accept that our service is categorised as ‘urgent repairs and maintenance’, as per legislation under common law regulation The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which is under Consumer Protection 2013 No.3134 (www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/pdfs/uksi_20133134_en.pdf), Part 3 (Right to Cancel) Clause 28 (Limits of application: circumstances excluding cancellation) which specifically states (e) “contracts where the consumer has specifically requested a visit from the trader for the purpose of carrying out urgent repairs and maintenance”.
By making payment over the phone for our services, you explicitly agree to the terms above and accept that any refunds made outside of the above terms are done so purely at the professional discretion of Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services.
Access & Safety
You must ensure that site is safe for the contractor to carry out the work. You must ensure full safe access is provided when the contractor is due to arrive. Failure to ensure safety and access could result in no services provided and a subsequent charge attached.
Call Recording
Calls may be recorded for evidential and developmental purposes.
Permits, Provisions and Consent
It is the user’s duty to ensure suitable permission, permits, licenses and all other consents from the property owner and/or planning permission if necessary is obtained prior to works carried out by the company. Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services not be held responsible, or liable if this has not been obtained.
Any work carried out on behalf of the company by contractors will be guaranteed under their own respective policies this is always up to a minimum of £2.5 million public liability.
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services are not to be liable or responsible for any damage or defect arising from work not fully guaranteed or where recommended work has not been carried out in line with the original contractors proposed scheme of work.
The customer shall be solely liable for any hazardous situation in respect of Gas Safe regulations, or gas warning notice issued, unless otherwise caused by our Gas Safe operative.
All Gas Safe engineers operate under their own Gas Safe registration, and as such are solely responsible for any gas related work and relevant liabilities.
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services will use all reasonable efforts to deliver the service on time, yet shall not be liable to the customer or any third party if the works prove impossible to complete due to events, parts requisites or exogenous circumstances beyond Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services operational reach.

Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services initial response time to your dispute is within 48hrs (Monday – Friday).
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services team is available Monday – Sunday, 7am – 21:00 pm.

We abide all relevant data protection legislations and provisions in UK regulatory law. Please refer to our privacy policy regarding the longhand version of how we process your personal data.
Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions of use from time to time without notice in line with data protection legislations. You should check these terms and conditions regularly. Your continued use of this service will be deemed to be acceptance of the updated or amended terms.
Governing Jurisdictions
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with His Majesty’s laws of England and Wales. Any dispute you have which relates to these terms and conditions, or your Bloxt 24/7 Home Emergency Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of His Majesty’s courts of England and Wales.
